Many of these works adopt a multimedia approach. My goal is not to represent objective reality. I often use media in unconventional ways, blending analog and digital elements to create something hybrid. I hack equipment and create scenographic objects, using software manipulation to achieve a striking aesthetic.
Title: Glitch Flowers – Glitch Art _ 2023
Glitch Flowers” is a video art piece that explores the aesthetics of error through concept art and music inspired by glitch. Created during the COVID-19 quarantine, the work stems from separate concept art, images, and music that share the common element of the aesthetic error of glitch. The imagery of flowers symbols of life and time is combined with musical tracks generated by a prepared piano, reflecting a connection between sound and vision. Despite employing a less academic approach to John Cage’s technique, the use of computerized post-production has produced unique soundscapes in a context reminiscent of circuit bending. The piece is complemented by Glitch Art photographs and the album “Broken Harmony,” which includes the soundtrack for these works.
